The West Gate @ Crane is the first multi-county Technology Park in the State of Indiana and is described by Purdue University as “the single best opportunity for the direct commercialization of technology in Indiana.” Its purpose is to support Crane and related Military initiatives, as well as commercially based technology transfer and intellectual property development.
The Indiana operations of the Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC, www.saic.com, 812-384-3587) the largest employee-owned research and engineering company in the U.S., is expanding its NSWC Crane-related operations into the Martin County segment of the West Gate @ Crane.
EG&G Technical Services, Inc. (www.eggcrane.com, 812-854-0006) is a major tenant across the county line in the West Gate @ Crane facility.
